Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Puts Focus on Giving

New campaign #MSFocusOnGiving launches with "You Have a Gift…" video.

The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation launched a new giving campaign with a heart-touching video, “You Have a Gift…” available at https://www.crowdrise.com/youhaveagift. The video portrays one woman’s life-long dream to use her gift for dance. That dream is put on hold by a multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

“The MSF believes everyone has a gift – a special talent or skill they can use to make the world a better, more beautiful place,” comments Nathalie Sloane, Development Director for the Foundation. “But for many people with MS, whether or not they can use their gifts depends on the support and assistance they receive from our organization. A diagnosis can put their dreams on hold, but the programs and services offered by the Foundation can help them move forward.”

As the first initiative in the #MSFocusOnGiving campaign, the Foundation hopes the video will both raise awareness of multiple sclerosis and gain financial support for the desperately-needed aid that the organization provides, including medical care and equipment, emergency financial assistance, and other vital services. The Foundation’s national toll-free helpline, 1-888-MSFocus, connects people and families affected by MS with caring caseworkers who offer personalized resources for their specific needs.
